Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Using the Leptospirosis IHA kit can the infecting serovar be determined?

A: The test does not identify down to the species level. It is designed for Genus specific detection using a broadly cross-reactive species for the antigen source.

Q: The Leptospirosis IHA kit always comes with warning labels that say store upright. Why is this?

A: The cells are bottled in small vials in buffer. When the vials are accidentally stored in a non-upright position the pelleted cells may no longer be in contact with the buffer. The cells may then be damaged.
